Hold on, joy cometh in the morning.

Hold on, joy cometh in the morning.

Hold on, joy cometh in the morning.

The holidays are upon us, but not everyone is cheerful. Some people are grieving the loss of a loved one. Someone is wishing they had a significant other to spend time with for the holidays. Someone is reminiscing on the bond shared between old friends.

Even though you might be feeling a bit blue, all is not lost. This is your season of change and preparation. God has you in a holding pattern so He can get your attention. He wants to work on your heart and build your character. God wants you to focus on serving others in this season.

His word says that we should give to the poor. The homeless don't have a roof over their heads. They don't know where their next meal will come from. They don't have a warm bed and blankets to bundle up and keep warm, but we do.

God has not forgotten us. He wants us to look past our circumstances to tend to the needs of others. We can satisfy our souls by focusing on helping others. We must learn to count our blessings instead of our problems.

Our lives will be full again. Our hearts will smile again. Our relationships will start to bloom. Our joy will be strengthened. Our dry season will soon come to an end.

OptimisticallyKe......that's me
