All of the honor and praise is due to our Lord.

The holiday season is here and people are of good cheer. It is during this time of year that many individuals participate in charitable giving.

It feels good to give. Giving shows we have compassion and that we care for others. We are helping someone less fortunate than ourselves. We are concerned for those that don't have; however, we can’t forget The One who is making this giving possible. We must thank God for blessing us to be a blessing to others. It is He who affords us the opportunity to give.

It's not for personal gain, glory, or recognition. God is at the center of it all. It is He who gives us the power to get wealth and give back to those in need, and He deserves the praise for every good deed we perform. We should always be grateful because it could be us outdoors with no food or clothes.

Let us thank God for His continued provision and praise Him for all He has done for us and through us.
